The wellbeing of your child is our number one priority. Please review the following information to ensure you have the best and safest experience with your Loui pacifier. 

 

C A R E 

  • Sanitization: Prior to first use, and at regular intervals thereafter, sanitize pacifier by immersing in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove from water and allow to cool completely before offering to child.

  • Cleaning: Clean pacifier before each use in the dishwasher (top rack only) or by hand, using warm water and mild soap. Please note, discoloration or staining may occur from colorful foods and / or liquids.

  • Storage: Store in a dry covered container. Do not store in sterilizing solutions or aggressive disinfectants as these may weaken the teat. Do not store in direct sunlight or near a source of heat.

  • Replacement: Pacifiers should be replaced every 6-8 weeks for safety and hygiene reasons.

S A F E T Y

  • Inspect: Carefully inspect the pacifier before each use, especially when your child is teething. Pull the pacifier in all directions to ensure parts have not torn or separated. Discard immediately at the first signs of damage or weakness.

  • Attach Safely: Never attach ribbons or cords to the pacifier, your child may be strangled by them. Only use dedicated pacifier holders that are CPSIA compliant.

  • Protect Teeth: Never dip the pacifier in sweet substances or medication. This can cause tooth decay.

  • Supervise: Always use this product under adult supervision. In the rare event that the pacifier becomes lodged in your child’s mouth, DO NOT PANIC. Simply remove from the mouth with care. It cannot be swallowed.
