Why should I choose Loui?
When you buy a Loui pacifier you get the very best of form and function. Our pacifiers are super stylish, but more importantly, they’re extremely safe. Made of 100% medical grade silicone and tested to meet US CPSIA and FDA safety standards, you can rest assured that your baby is using a non-toxic, BPA, phthalate, PVC and latex-free product. What’s more, our hygienic single-piece construction means there aren’t any joints or cracks where dirt and bacteria can hide.
Did we mention they’re dishwasher safe? Hallelujah!
What ages are the pacifiers designed for?
The Classic Paci and Scallop Paci are designed for babies 0+ months. Please consult with your paediatrician to determine the best time to wean.
How do I sterilize the pacifier?
It’s a cinch! Before the first use, simply immerse the pacifier in boiling water for five minutes. Afterwards, you can clean it regularly by hand, using mild soap and warm water, or just pop it in the dishwasher (top rack only).
What’s the lifespan of a Loui pacifier?
Pacifiers should be replaced every 6-8 weeks for safety and hygiene reasons. Additionally, it’s important to inspect your baby’s pacifier carefully before each use and throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.
What are Loui pacifiers made of?
100% medical grade silicone – which means that they’re non-toxic and safe for babies with a latex allergy.
Where are Loui pacifiers made?
Our pacifiers are made responsibly in China and safety tested by a CPSC-approved third party laboratory to ensure strict compliance with US CPSIA and FDA standards.
Can I recycle my Loui pacifier?
Yes! Although silicone is not biodegradable it can be easily recycled where facilities exist. Please contact an appropriate recycling center near you.
Where should I attach a pacifier holder?
The best place to attach a holder is the handle. The two small holes on the shield are for ventilation (in case the pacifier becomes lodged in your child’s mouth), so they should always remain unobstructed. Simply loop your holder around the handle and you’re good to go!
